Lead Controls Engineer - Innovative HVAC Mechanical & Controls company - A LOT of Optimization and Central Plant solutions
The company has 130+ employees, team-player/work culture, and has 2 locations in Southern California: 1 in Central Orange County and 1 in North Los Angeles.
POSITION:
  • Lead Controls Engineer (establishes standardization for the design and drafting team)
LOCATION:
  • 2 Offices: one in Orange County and one in Los Angeles
    • Remote-Flexibility
    • Participate in Job Walks
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams responsible to design, develop and release Controls projects and HVAC projects (depending upon interest/experience)
  • Set engineering standardization practices
  • Grow the existing Engineering Department
    • Current staff is an HVAC Mechanical Engineer w/P.E. and a Controls Design Engineer.
  • Expertise in design engineering of Chiller/Central Plants and Retrofit projects
  • Execute deliverables within a phased-gate development system.
  • Help prepare mechanical drawings for construction and city permits working with AutoCAD or MS Visio
CERTIFICATION:
  • PLUS (Not Required) - P.E. or Professional Engineer
