Job description

Oversee the freshness, accuracy, and accessibility of HR content for a global workforce of over 1M.

RUN Studios and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Senior Content Editorย to join for an approximateย 12-month project.ย 

As a Senior Content Editor, you will prepare the employee-facing content and content for our HR teams for content readiness and transformation from our existing content management system to our new system. We will be migrating 65k pieces of content and transforming it as part of a multi-plan to move to the new system. You will respond to customer requests to create and update content in either system as we transition content by topic, aligning process and policy changes within defined SLAs and delivery timelines. Collaborating with stakeholders and technology partners, you will strategize and execute content migration from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Leveraging your expertise, you will play a key role in transforming long-form content into metadata-rich, reusable fragments, aligning with new content needs, channels, and audiences, including our AI tools. ย 

The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and oral communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and technical aptitude. Proven expertise with content optimization for AI ingestion is required. Excellent judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders are essential. Willingness to learn fast, and curiosity about how things work is crucial. Proficiency in one or more content management system is essential.

As a Senior Content Editor, You Will:

  • Content Recertification and Alignment to Strategy: Ensure content is reviewed and updated by Content owners in preparation for migration to new platform.
  • Content Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and sign-off to ensure content migrated successfully through automated script with the correct metadata, content structure for migration sign-off.
  • Content structure transformation: Upon migration to the new platform, participate in strategy to transform single-use long-form content into reuseable content fragments and ensure testing and sign-off is provided from content owners.
  • Content Standards and Guidelines Development: Contribute to the development of team style guidelines and content standards, identifying optimization opportunities and proposing innovative solutions based on AI personalization opportunities.
  • Workflow management and content storage input: Identify areas of potential improvement to content management workflows and systems, working closely with global team and product management on improvements and new flows.
  • Project management: Working with cross-organizational stakeholders, to publish content for complex features, including setting deadlines, assigning tasks, managing dependencies, escalating risks, and ensuring timely publication of materials.
  • Metadata framework reuse: Adhering to and promoting the use of our content taxonomy, enabling discovery and reusability by ensuring all content is tagged and described appropriately.
  • Content reuse: Identify opportunities to reuse content and reduce manual effort required to maintain duplicate information in multiple places.
  • Global content updates: Responding to customer requests to create and update content in our content management system in line with process and policy changes within defined contact SLAs and delivery timelines.

In This Role, You Bring:

  • 4+ years of professional content management experience in a system like Adobe Experience Manager or Contentful.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Content ops experience managing content for AI applications.
  • Experience working with reusable or โ€œheadless content.โ€
  • Experience with information architecture and content models.
  • High attention to detail and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Demonstrated success learning and explaining business processes.
  • Good judgment and open communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work experience in a global and cross-functional team environment.

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience in a multi-language publishing environment managing content for an international audience.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or a related field.

Compensation

Pay Range:ย $35.00 - $40.00 (Hourly)ย  ย ย 

The successful candidateโ€™s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.ย ย 

Benefits:

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savingsย and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.ย ย
