Creator Partnerships Strategist (Remote)

Blue Wheel Media

West Bloomfield, MI โ€ข Remote

Full-time

Job description

Role Overview

Blue Wheel is seeking a Creator Partnerships Strategist to support high-volume creator, customer, affiliate, and social commerce content programs.

This role works under the direction of the Creator Partnerships Manager while independently managing creator sourcing, outreach, partnership development, community engagement, content quality, campaign optimization, and reporting across high-volume creator, customer, affiliate, and social commerce programs. The ideal candidate is an experienced operator who can execute at scale while identifying trends and opportunities that improve program performance.

This is not a traditional influencer role focused only on hand-selecting a small group of creators. This role supports scaled creator and customer content programs designed to generate content volume through creator outreach, affiliate activation, customer participation, post-purchase communication, community engagement, cross-posting, repeat participation, and challenge-based incentives.

AI-enabled tools and creator platforms may support sourcing, filtering, outreach, follow-ups, workflow tracking, and reporting. However, this role still requires strong hands-on execution. The Creator Partnerships Strategist will be responsible for reviewing creator fit, managing follow-ups, supporting community activity, QA'ing content, tracking incentives, organizing reporting, and escalating issues that require human judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Creator & Customer Pipeline Management

  • Develop creator recommendations aligned with client objectives, target audiences, campaign goals, and budgets.
  • Identify emerging creators, platform trends, and partnership opportunities across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok Shop, and other relevant platforms.
  • Recommend creator strategies and content approaches to improve campaign performance.
  • Support creator sourcing and outreach across relevant brand categories, audience niches, and product-use cases.
  • Review creator recommendations for brand fit, category relevance, audience alignment, content quality, and platform behavior.
  • Manage outreach workflows, follow-ups, creator/customer questions, and participation status.
  • Support customer activation campaigns in partnership with the manager, account team, lifecycle team, and client team.
  • Support post-purchase creator/customer invite workflows where applicable.
  • Track creator and customer movement from outreach to interest, community join, content submission, posting, and payout eligibility.
  • Maintain organized pipeline trackers and flag gaps, bottlenecks, or pacing risks.
  • Recommend workflow improvements to increase creator/customer conversion and posting rates.
  • Negotiate creator compensation, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, and campaign terms within approved budgets.
  • Build long-term relationships with creators while expanding Blue Wheel's creator network.

Creator Communication & Community Operations

  • Support onboarding for creators and customers who express interest in a program.
  • Help maintain creator/community spaces, FAQs, posting instructions, challenge details, product education, example content, and participation guidelines.
  • Answer creator/customer questions and escalate complex or sensitive issues to the manager.
  • Encourage participation in monthly challenges, cross-posting opportunities, repeat posting prompts, and affiliate opportunities.
  • Monitor community activity and flag common questions, friction points, or engagement opportunities.
  • Create announcements, educational resources, campaign opportunities, and discussion prompts for the creator community.
  • Foster engagement by interacting with creators, celebrating successes, and encouraging participation.
  • Gather creator feedback and community insights to improve the creator experience and future programs.
  • Help ensure creators and customers understand how to participate, how to post, how to earn, and how to access future opportunities.

Content Tracking & QA

  • Develop creator briefs by translating client objectives into clear creative direction, key messaging, deliverables, and campaign requirements.
  • Provide creative guidance and feedback throughout the content creation process while preserving creator authenticity.
  • Track submitted and live content across approved platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, TikTok Shop, and other relevant channels.
  • Confirm that posts meet program requirements, including product, format, caption, hashtag, disclosure, link, and timing requirements.
  • Collect live links, screenshots, creator handles, post dates, view counts, engagement metrics, and cross-posting status.
  • Flag content that may be strong enough for future amplification, re-use, organic posting, Spark Ads, GMV Max, or top-performer bonuses.
  • Escalate brand safety concerns, inaccurate claims, missing disclosures, incorrect product details, or content quality issues.
  • Help identify strong content patterns, recurring themes, and creators who may be good candidates for repeat activation.
  • Coordinate revisions, approvals, and final content delivery with creators and internal stakeholders.
  • Review creator content for storytelling, hook strength, brand alignment, messaging accuracy, platform best practices, and overall creative quality while providing actionable feedback to creators.

Incentive & Challenge Administration

  • Track approved content against base incentive structures, bonus rules, and monthly challenge requirements.
  • Maintain records of bonus eligibility for cross-posting, repeat posting, top-performing content, VIP creators, affiliate performance, or customer participation.
  • Support the manager in monitoring incentive, challenge, creator, or customer budget pacing.
  • Help ensure incentive records are clean, accurate, and easy to review before payouts.
  • Identify creators or customers who may be strong candidates for repeat participation, additional incentives, or future paid opportunities.
  • Flag incentive structures that appear to improve or weaken creator participation.

Reporting & Insights Support

  • Maintain weekly trackers for outreach volume, community joins, creator/customer participation, post rate, content volume, views, incentive usage, and key performance signals.
  • Support the manager and strategist with weekly status updates.
  • Help identify trends across outreach methods, creator/customer segments, content themes, and posting behavior.
  • Flag pacing risks if content volume, community conversion, post rate, views, or incentive usage are behind target.
  • Keep data organized so the manager can build strategic recommendations and client-facing updates.
  • Support the preparation of recaps, screenshots, links, content examples, and performance summaries.
  • Surface early insights around which creator segments, messaging angles, and challenge structures are working.
  • Analyze creator performance to identify high-performing creators, messaging, content formats, and partnership opportunities.
  • Apply campaign learnings to improve future creator recommendations, outreach strategies, and program performance.

Client Collaboration

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned creator initiatives.
  • Present creator updates, campaign progress, and performance insights during recurring client meetings.
  • Coordinate client approvals including creator selections, rates, creative concepts, and final content.
  • Proactively identify campaign risks and recommend solutions to maintain campaign success.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with the manager, strategist, account team, lifecycle team, paid media team, client team, and internal stakeholders to understand product availability, sample status, campaign timing, and program priorities.
  • Support communication around shipping, samples, product questions, creator requirements, and operational blockers where applicable.
  • Partner with internal team members to ensure creator/customer messaging, community prompts, challenge details, and reporting remain consistent.
  • Coordinate paid usage rights, Spark Ads, whitelisting, and licensing requests with internal Paid Media teams.
  • Flag high-performing content suitable for paid amplification and future licensing opportunities.
  • Document recurring process gaps and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Escalate issues quickly when they could impact creator participation, post timing, content quality, or client expectations.
  • Maintain organized creator asset libraries, campaign documentation, contracts, Spark codes, usage permissions, and content archives.
  • Ensure creator content is properly stored and distributed for Paid Media, Organic Social, and client use.
  • Coordinate product fulfillment, shipping logistics, and creator sample tracking in partnership with clients, fulfillment partners, and internal teams.
  • Partner closely with Paid Social, Organic Social, Community Management, Creative, Lifecycle Marketing, and Social Commerce teams to maximize creator content across channels.
  • Ensure messaging remains consistent across creator, paid, owned, and affiliate marketing initiatives.
  • Support the onboarding and development of Creator Partnerships Specialists by sharing best practices, campaign learnings, and workflow guidance.

Required Experience

  • 2โ€“4+ years of experience in creator partnerships, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, community management, social media, lifecycle/community programs, customer advocacy, or social commerce.
  • Experience managing creator outreach, creator communication, community workflows, campaign tracking, or affiliate/content programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working in spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, creator platforms, or CRM-style systems.
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, TikTok Shop, creator content formats, and short-form video behavior.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with creators, customers, and internal teams.
  • Experience creating creator briefs, campaign documentation, or educational resources using Canva or similar design tools.
  • Ability to manage repetitive but detail-sensitive work without losing accuracy.
  • Experience using creator management platforms (Klear, GRIN, Aspire, CreatorIQ, etc.) and project management tools to support sourcing, outreach, reporting, and campaign organization.
  • Ability to balance speed, attention to detail, and creator/customer experience.
  • Ability to identify patterns and make recommendations to improve workflow, posting rate, or creator participation.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with TikTok Shop, affiliate creator programs, Discord communities, UGC programs, customer advocacy programs, or product seeding campaigns.
  • Experience supporting consumer brands across categories such as beauty, wellness, home, lifestyle, CPG, fashion, pets, family, fitness, or retail.
  • Familiarity with creator incentive programs, content challenges, bonus tracking, ambassador programs, or community-based creator activations.
  • Experience collecting and organizing live content links, creator handles, Spark codes, usage permissions, or campaign performance data.
  • Understanding of FTC disclosure expectations and basic brand safety considerations.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled tools and creator platforms may support sourcing, creator discovery, audience analysis, outreach, workflow tracking, reporting, content analysis, and operational efficiencies.

This role will be evaluated based on its support of overall program goals, including:

Ideal Candidate Profile

They are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under a manager who owns the broader strategy. They know when to solve an issue independently and when to escalate. They are especially strong at keeping trackers clean, following up consistently, communicating clearly, and helping a high-volume creator/customer engine run smoothly.
