The Amtrak Field Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of Amtrak’s rail infrastructure and operations across the United States. This position involves conducting thorough inspections of tracks, bridges, signals, and other rail assets to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs. The Field Inspector collaborates closely with engineering and maintenance teams to report findings and recommend corrective actions that uphold federal and company safety standards.
