Cogent People Inc. is seeking a DevOps Lead (Copado) to support detailed requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation for projects workflows, data structures, and user interactions.ย 


This role works with stakeholders and Agile teams to refine user stories, ensure alignment with CMS processes, and support testing and user acceptance. The position contributes to continuous improvement by identifying gaps in workflow execution, data quality, and user experience.ย 


The DevOps Lead leads DevSecOps implementation using Copado to enable automated, secure CI/CD pipelines and controlled release promotion across Salesforce environments. Ensures configuration management, test automation gating, and deployment traceability aligned with CMS security and compliance requirements. Integrates continuous validation, monitoring, and release governance into all delivery activities.ย

What You'll Doย 

  • Support detailed requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation for MESH workflows, data structures, and user interactionsย ย 
  • Work with stakeholders and Agile teams to refine user storiesย ย 
  • Ensure alignment with CMS processesย ย 
  • Support testing and user acceptanceย ย 
  • Lead DevSecOps implementation using Copado to enable automated, secure CI/CD pipelines and controlled release promotion across Salesforce environmentsย ย 
  • Ensure configuration management, test automation gating, and deployment traceability aligned with CMS security and compliance requirementsย ย 
  • Integrate continuous validation, monitoring, and release governance into all delivery activitiesย ย 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying gaps in workflow execution, data quality, and user experienceย 

What We're Looking Forย 

  • Bachelor's degree in [relevant field] or equivalent experienceย ย 
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Salesforce delivery, or related technical leadership rolesย ย 
  • Demonstrated experience leading DevSecOps implementations using Copadoย ย 
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and DevSecOps practicesย ย 
  • Experience working in CMS, federal, healthcare, regulated, or enterprise environments (if applicable)ย ย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsย ย 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesย ย 
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced environmentย ย 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teamsย
