Job Description

DUTIES: Wellmark Inc. seeks a Sr Software Engineer - Dynamics CRM based out of our U.S. headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa; however, this is a purely telecommuting/work-from home position whereby the employee may reside anywhere within the U.S.

Responsibilities include design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and document highly complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to ensure they are efficient and cost effective and in support of Wellmark's business strategy and Technology vision; ensure completed activities meet project specifications, requirements and Wellmark standards; lead discussions with Technology and business units on solution design and implementation; collaborate with other areas of Technology to ensure solutions improve the user experience, pass minimum accessibility or usability criteria; recommend Technology alternatives and solutions. Lead design and development of the aligned system integration; define, analyze, estimate, develop, test, implement, document, and maintain programs and systems that meet business requirements; contribute to solutions architecture deliverables and decisions, through interpretation of architectural diagrams as inputs to the design deliverable; partner and problem-solve with the UX team in the development of solutions that improve the user experience, pass minimum accessibility or usability criteria; work to resolve technical problems for on premise, cloud native, and hybrid applications and solutions; lead problem-solving with other technology areas in the design, development and implementation of aligned solutions, including how to use new or enhanced software/applications that are on premise, cloud native, or hybrid to accomplish business needs; support the gathering of information, necessary research needed for root cause analysis, problem definition and formulation, solution implementation, verification, and ongoing optimization. Provide analysis of defects to find root cause; provide recommended solution(s) that promote successful delivery of business project objectives or production support objectives and support benefits realization; take on the role of primary consultant on business status, issues, process improvements and technology enhancements or capabilities for the aligned solutions; serve as subject matter expert in the implementation of innovative, cost-effective business solutions for multiple applications, while utilizing information technology, business and industry trends; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study and 36 months of experience in job offered or related in a health or financial services industry.

36 months of experience in software development, data mining, ETL Processing, and configuration in Dynamics CRM; 24 months of experience in design and development in Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, SQL; experience in troubleshooting and developing creative technical solutions; experience with gathering information, performing necessary research needed for root cause analysis, problem definition and formulation, recommending solution implementation, verification, and ongoing optimization, using data to support recommendations; Experience supporting legacy Dynamics CRM systems.
