In this remote position, you will collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals and educators to provide virtual outpatient mental health therapy to students. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Clear Sky, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to identify student-specific needs and potential barriers to treatment.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical evidence and the unique circumstances of each student.
• Utilizing both individual therapy and group therapy modalities to address various psychosocial issues, ensuring that all interventions are culturally sensitive and age-appropriate.
• Collaborating with educational staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and effective treatment compliance.
• Documenting all clinical activities in accordance with department standards, ensuring thorough and timely records in patients' medical files.
• Facilitating educational sessions for families to promote understanding and support for mental health recommendations.
• Advocating for students’ needs within the community, focusing on fostering self-determination and access to necessary resources.
• Maintaining professional development by engaging in ongoing training and staying updated on community resources.

This role focuses on providing mental health support to students ranging from elementary to high school age, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics. You will assess the developmental stage and cultural backgrounds of each student, tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs and improving their overall psychosocial functioning.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Strong foundation in clinical social work principles and practice, particularly within educational settings.

While experience in various settings is valuable, candidates with the following background will be prioritized:

• 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience within a health or mental health setting, particularly working with school-aged populations.
• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and the ability to apply therapeutic techniques in a school context.
• Knowledge of local community resources and the capacity to integrate them into student care plans.
