Job description

LUMN is a quickly expanding marketing company that services hundreds of dental practices. We are looking for a truly amazing detail-oriented person to join our design team!


This is a remote contract (1099) Graphic Design position that requires working knowledge and best practices in branding & brand presentation, web graphics, imagery, typography, and various print deliverables for client needs, and occasional wordpress help with Kadence. To be great at this job you need to understand brief interpretation regarding the industry, demographic, client values, typography, great tone and look/feel interpretation to execute a good brand, have creative and unique concepts, and color scheme/coordination. We have a world class Creative Director with who you will work with/mentor you and help you elevate your creative skill set along the way. Some additional design projects may be available pending skillset, availability, and bandwidth.
NOTE: This will not involve ANY coding or case study research.

Necessary Skills - A very good working knowledge of the following:

  • STRONG working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Current brand and design trends and practices
  • Polished and detailed design eye, precision matters (our clients are medical practitioners and need to look warm, friendly and professional)
  • Creative & unique execution of design
  • Ability to curb design pride and do what the client and/or the creative director needs.


Needed to Start

    • As of right now, our whole team is working remotely. This means you will need a reliable internet connection, your own Adobe account/software, a computer, and a quiet workstation.
    • Projects come and go, so the position is on an 'as-needed' basis. Hours are not guaranteed.
    • A sample project may be assigned to determine your skillset used for assessment and hiring only.


    Qualifications

    • Background/experience with print design - willingness to learn if needed.
    • Your experience matters more than a credential, your project execution matters more than your experience, but your attitude matters more than your project execution.
    • Great attitude! THIS IS A MUST! We are a tight-knit team. Your attitude and personality matters just as much as your skill, if not more.
