This remote position allows you to work independently while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Interaction with fellow mental health professionals, educators, and specialists occurs primarily through virtual meetings, ensuring flexibility and accessibility. While you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule, the role also involves community engagement activities and occasional on-site visitation at our hospice center in Payson, Arizona.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, skillfully identifying the specific needs of students.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing emotional well-being and facilitating successful adaptation to the school environment.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma recovery.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, equipping students with coping strategies and promoting their personal growth.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and allied health professionals, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring students receive timely support during emergencies.
• Educate students and families about mental health conditions and available resources, fostering a supportive community.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Stay updated on the latest laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines relevant to clinical social work.

Your work will predominantly focus on students with special needs who require emotional and behavioral support in educational settings. The diverse demographics include children coping with ASD, ADHD, trauma, and other related disorders, emphasizing the need for tailored, empathetic, and culturally competent approaches to mental health care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Possession of a current, valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidenced-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Proficiency in mental health assessments, diagnostic skills, and treatment planning is essential.
• Capability to conduct individual and group therapy using various therapeutic methodologies.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer skills.
• A collaborative spirit with an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Experience in special education settings will be a distinct advantage, as will familiarity with specific therapeutic practices tailored to youth mental health. Additionally, exposure to integrated care models and community mental health services will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
