This is a full-time remote position based out of Hoisington, Kansas, allowing you to work flexibly from the comfort of your home. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient schedules. As part of a collaborative team, you will have constant access to resources, supervision, and a supportive network of professionals dedicated to mental health.

• Conduct thorough assessments for individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their unique needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practices and evidence-based modalities.
• Provide individual counseling using techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to empower patients in their recovery.
• Lead group therapy sessions to enhance social support and skills development among individuals in recovery.
• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and treatment continuity.
• Manage crisis situations effectively by providing immediate support and appropriate interventions during substance-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about the nature of addiction and recovery strategies, connecting them with community resources.
• Maintain precise documentation of sessions and treatment progress in accordance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions to enhance service delivery and treatment outcomes.
• Stay informed about new research and advancements in addiction treatment methods to continually improve patient care.

This position focuses on a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with various forms of substance use disorders. You will work with clients from all walks of life in the Hoisington community, promoting recovery and wellness through tailored interventions. Your role will directly affect the lives of those seeking to overcome addiction and rebuild their lives.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current and valid licensure as an LSCSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or LCMFT within the state of Kansas.
• In-depth understanding of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment practices, along with a solid foundation in recovery-oriented care.
• Proven experience providing both individual and group therapy specific to addiction treatment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in all interactions.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice, ensuring confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer literacy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for healing.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling, particularly focused on substance use disorders.
• Experience implementing evidence-based therapeutic frameworks in clinical settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and practices, enhancing accessibility in client care.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, in addition to performance-based bonuses.
