Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Onsite, remote option
Required:
Information Technology (IT) experience (10 years).
Experience with Managing an IT program area (5 years).
IT leadership experience (3 years).
Experience with IT program and project management.
Experience managing highly complex IT programs consisting of multiple cloud solution projects.
Experience with Technical writing and documentation.
Experience with Document version control and collaborative document management.
Experience with Procurement procedures.
Experience with Florida State Agency IT Projects.
Experience with Florida legislative reporting practices (e.g., Operational Work Plans, spend plans).
Project Management certification.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the collective output of all projects aligns with the Client's goals and objectives (Strategic Alignment).
Measuring whether the program actually improved the business after individual projects were completed (Benefits Realization).
Managing cross-project dependencies where the output of one project is required for the start of another (Cross-Project Dependency Mapping).
Navigating high-level executive relationships and board-level expectations (Stakeholder Political Management).
Establishing standards, reporting structures, and rules of engagement that all project managers under the program must follow (Program Governance).
Shifting budgets and personnel between different projects to ensure highest-priority initiatives have what they need (Resource Capacity Planning).
Decomposing specific projects into manageable tasks and sub-tasks (Work Breakdown Structure creation).
