Position Summary:

As a Senior CAD/GIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting water, wastewater, municipal, and civil infrastructure projects through advanced geospatial analysis, mapping, data management, and CAD integration. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, planners, and technical specialists to develop, maintain, and analyze spatial datasets that support planning, design, construction, and asset management initiatives.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, utilizing GIS and CAD technologies to deliver high-quality mapping products, geospatial analyses, and data-driven solutions that support project success and client objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage GIS databases, geodatabases, and spatial datasets for infrastructure projects.
  • Perform spatial analysis and data visualization to support engineering, planning, and asset management initiatives.
  • Create high-quality maps, exhibits, dashboards, and geospatial deliverables for internal teams and clients.
  • Integrate GIS and CAD data to support project planning, design, and construction activities.
  • Process, validate, and manage large datasets from multiple sources while maintaining data integrity and quality standards.
  • Support field data collection efforts using GPS, mobile GIS applications, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technical staff to identify GIS solutions that improve project delivery and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, standards, and procedures for GIS and CAD data management.
  • Support utility, water, wastewater, transportation, and municipal infrastructure projects through mapping and geospatial analysis.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting project schedules and deliverable requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geospatial Sciences, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional GIS and/or CAD experience supporting engineering, infrastructure, municipal, or utility projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and geodatabase management.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of spatial analysis, data management, coordinate systems, and geospatial data workflows.
  • Experience creating professional mapping products, technical exhibits, and geospatial deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting water, wastewater, stormwater, utility, transportation, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise, Field Maps, Survey123, Experience Builder, Dashboards, or related Esri applications.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, ModelBuilder, or GIS automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of utility networks, asset management systems, and infrastructure data management.
  • Experience working with LiDAR, aerial imagery, GPS data collection, or remote sensing datasets.
  • Familiarity with data conversion, spatial ETL processes, and integration between GIS and CAD platforms.
  • Experience developing GIS standards, workflows, and quality assurance procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Occasional site or office visits may be required to coordinate with project teams or review design documentation.
