Belden's US Internship Program offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over 12 weeks, you will gain hands-on experience crafting business solutions while developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and function-specific knowledge.

As a member of our 2027 US Internship Program, you'll be fully immersed in a global team of experts eager to teach and learn from you along the way. These fast-paced, project-based internship positions are ideal for students who are interested in developing themselves professionally, while also making a substantial contribution to the company. You'll work towards goals, deliver results, and present to business leaders.

Information Technology at Belden is a strategic function embedded in every part of the business. The team manages enterprise systems, runs global infrastructure across networks, servers, and cloud environments, and leads cybersecurity operations.

IT Internship roles provides the opportunity to work out of the Richmond, IN office.

How you can add value within the IT function:

  • Lead Security Operations Center investigations to ensure Incident Response processes and procedures are followed
  • Review and assist in the creation of standard operating procedures
  • Perform Threat Hunting and complete Endpoint, Detection, Response (EDR) dispositions
  • Develop Tableau analytics
  • Build insightful reporting dashboards for internal leaders in other regions

Successful IT Intern Program candidates will offer:

  • Current enrollment with pursuit of  bachelor's or master's degree in Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or computing-focused Engineering
  • Technical internship or work experience in software development, data analytics, ERP, or IT infrastructure - deployed output preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities  
  • High learning agility and intellectual curiosity along with initiative, accountability, and a bias for action  
  • Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments, authorization to work in the country of employment
