Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' backgrounds, trauma history, and unique needs.

  • Deliver evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other modalities suited to each client’s situation.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, developing healthy coping strategies, and fostering emotional healing.
  • Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, advising clients on coping methods and resources available to them.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, therapy methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents grappling with the lasting effects of trauma. Qualifications
