Job description

About Us

Orbis Talent Partners is a leading global recruitment and consulting boutique specializing in both alternative and traditional asset management communities. We partner with asset managers and their holding companies around the world, placing talent across five functional verticals. Orbis is a tight-knit team working from remote locations across the US and the Caribbean.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a few interns to support short- to medium-term research projects that feed directly into our recruitment pipeline. You'll gain hands-on exposure to how a boutique search firm identifies opportunities and maps talent markets across the asset management industry.

Projects Include:

  • Job Posting Monitoring: Track client websites and LinkedIn for job postings that fall within our five functional verticals. Strong performers can turn this into an ongoing role, there's no fixed end date for someone who does it well.
  • Talent Mapping: Map heads of recruiting and heads of HR at the 500–1,000 largest asset managers in North America, with potential to expand globally depending on results.

Keys for Success:

  • Strong research and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Comfortable navigating LinkedIn and company websites for extended periods.
  • Organized and able to track findings systematically.
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment.

Internship Details:

  • Commitment: ~10 hours per week (job posting monitoring); timeline varies by project (talent mapping: a few weeks to a few months).
  • Location: Fully remote.
  • Compensation: $15-20/hour.
  • Potential full-time pathway for exceptional performers.

If you're detail-oriented, curious about talent acquisition in asset management, and looking for flexible remote research work, we'd love to hear from you.
