Candidate Location: No SC residency required. Open to nationwide candidates.
Project Scope:
Seeking an experienced ADABAS Natural Programmer to support and enhance Retirement Claims and Financial Services applications. The consultant will work within a collaborative team environment utilizing the NaturalONE/Eclipse development platform and ADABAS databases. This role includes both application development and production support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop, maintain, and support applications using Natural and ADABAS.
โ€ข Analyze business requirements and implement technical solutions.
โ€ข Support Retirement Claims and Financial Services systems.
โ€ข Participate in design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance activities.
โ€ข Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
โ€ข Modify and enhance existing applications and business processes.
โ€ข Create and maintain technical documentation.
โ€ข Provide mentoring, training, and technical guidance to staff members.
โ€ข Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
โ€ข 6+ years of hands-on experience with Natural Programming and ADABAS databases.
โ€ข Experience working in Eclipse/NaturalONE development environment.
โ€ข Strong experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting issues.
โ€ข Knowledge of Payroll, Accounting, Financial Systems, or related business applications.
โ€ข Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
โ€ข Experience with JCL.
โ€ข Batch and Online Processing experience.
โ€ข Technical documentation experience.
โ€ข Knowledge of software version control and development best practices.
