• Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques specifically designed for insomnia, fostering effective strategies for patient success.
• Thoroughly review intake assessments, initial self-reported questionnaires, sleep diaries, and other pertinent documentation to tailor your therapeutic approach to each patient.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, ensuring to document findings and updates in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, which includes regular note-taking and assessments.
• Engage in clear and compassionate communication with patients, addressing both clinical needs and administrative concerns as they arise.
• Participate in regular team meetings to review patient care strategies and collaborate on cases, ensuring an integrated approach to our patients’ overall health.
• Complete other responsibilities as required, contributing to the overall success of the team and the clinic's mission.

In this role, you will primarily be focused on patients with insomnia, many of whom may also be experiencing related anxiety or depression. Your expertise will help guide these individuals toward healthier sleep patterns and improved mental health outcomes. Your work will have a direct impact not just on their sleep, but on their overall quality of life, and you will witness firsthand the transformations that can occur through effective therapy.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution, ensuring strong theoretical and practical foundations in mental health.
• A current, valid, and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California, demonstrating your professional capability to practice.
• A minimum of three years of direct experience working with insomnia patients, highlighting your ability to effectively address this specific mental health challenge.
• Strong proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, email management, spreadsheet utilization, and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.

• Experience with teletherapy and comfort using digital tools for patient engagement and record-keeping.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary teams in mental health settings.
