Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. seeks a Senior Systems Programmer Analyst in Jersey City, NJ to design, customize, and support front-end and back-end Corporate Technology application components. Develop, enhance, and maintain Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Transaction Monitoring, and Sanction Screening Compliance platforms. Integrate systems developed in-house with vendor solutions. Resolve issues reported in test and on production systems. Create scripts for deployment and design Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate suitability and viability of new technologies. Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data by using Oracle Data Integration (ODI) platform. Build and automate code deployment tools. Validate code meets user requirements and aligns with defined standards. Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, and other support specialists across multiple internal teams and vendors to provide fast solutions to address regulatory and audit inquiries, server end of life, and application vulnerabilities. Support production environments, periodic health checks, and vendor patches. Research and evaluate new Cloud technologies, tools, and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities in line with the Firm's technology strategy. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or closely related computer field, plus 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires 5 years of experience in: FIRCOSOFT (Trust, Continuity Sanctions Screening, Filter, and Reports); Oracle Financial Crime Compliance Management, Monitoring Money Laundering Models, and Surveillance Reports; and Oracle, Tomcat, SQL, Autosys, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Apache Maven, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Java, JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, JMS, RESTful Web Services, Hibernate, and EJB. The anticipated salary range for this role is $158,706 - $170,000, which is specific to Jersey City, NJ and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations.
