Atlas Psychological and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team in Brockton, Massachusetts. This full-time position focuses on providing specialized mental health therapy services to individuals coping with trauma, including those facing challenges related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, offering flexible working arrangements to suit the needs of our team and clients. While we maintain structured hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to identify patients' unique experiences and create tailored treatment approaches.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize recovery and resilience, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their traumas and fortifying their coping mechanisms.
  • Utilize modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide patients toward healing.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination for clients.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support as necessary, ensuring patients receive timely assistance during emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and connect them with community resources.
  • Maintain detailed, confidential patient records in strict compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
