Job description

Talon Hiring Solutions has a client that is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join the team in Birmingham, AL. This role is hybrid with two days in the office and three days remote. The CAD Designer will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings and layouts for pipeline facilities. Collaborating with project teams, and ensuring high-quality project deliverables.

What you will do:

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and CADWorx
  • Prepare sectional profiles and intricate details of pipe design with a high degree of precision.
  • Interpret and analyze project data to produce accurate displays of project details
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a project team to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Identify and define detailed requirements for project assignments
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across all technical documentation

What you will bring

  • Successful completion of high school or equivalent
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, with experience in AutoCAD and CADWorx
  • Experience with AutoCAD 3D is preferred but not required
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred
