Job Title: Cyber Engineer (TS/SCI Required)

About the role:
Everfox has exciting opportunities in growth areas with an immediate need for a Software Engineer to enhance capabilities of cyber products for securityconscious government and commercial customers. The position is responsible for developing and testing new product capabilities, software development/build tools, software test infrastructure, and operational support for crossdomain products including Linuxbased trusted access thinclients. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter, works well in a cohesive team environment, and is motivated to grow and learn across a wide range of software development and operational tools supporting secure Linux desktop environments, enterprise IT management, IP networking/routing, and remote/virtual desktop deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Linux and scripting expertise to support and field critical customerdriven requirements enabling secure data transfer.

  • Engage directly with customers to provide advanced design, analysis, and implementation of Everfox software.

  • Troubleshoot issues handson in Linuxbased environments and configure Everfox solutions to meet customer requirements.

  • Apply networking concepts to support Cross Domain solution design, including failover, coop, load balancing, and interoperability across enterprise components.

  • Develop data inspection policies using proprietary and opensource programming languages.

  • Provide technical briefings to customers and Everfox leadership.

  • Deliver customerfocused training, troubleshooting, and onsite/remote mission support.

Work Schedule:

Full Time, Monday - Friday (standard work schedule with flexibility for mission critical requirements)

This position may require some minimum travel as needed to meet customer and project requirements.

Key Knowledge and Skills:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required).

  • Ability to obtain work authorizations required under U.S. ITAR or EAR regulations.

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with Linuxbased software development using Java, Python, Go, C/C++, Bash, or similar languages.

  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and related protocols (HTTP, SSH, IPSEC, TLS/SSL, etc.).

  • Basic understanding of private/public keys and certificates.

  • Experience with Git or other versioncontrol technologies.

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering.

  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise, Fedora, or Ubuntu environments.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with security design and architecture of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).

  • Agile or Scrum development experience.

  • Experience deploying cloud technologies (Azure or AWS).

  • Development experience in distributed, clustered, or parallel processing environments.

  • Experience with virtual desktop redisplay technologies (RDP, Citrix Receiver, VMware Horizon View).

  • Experience with thinclient usage, management, and deployment scenarios.

  • Experience developing cloudbased technologies on Azure or AWS.

Total Base Pay Range 118,400.00 - 134,800.00 - 150,800.00 USD Annual
