CAD Drafter

Area: Fully Remote
Shift: 1st Shift

Job Summary:

  • Prepare drawings and permitting exhibits from engineering and/or field markups for designers and engineers
  • Coordinate CAD for projects, including responsibility for initial drawing setup
  • Prepare drawings for permits, complying with requirements from local villages, road and rail authorities, and other jurisdictions
  • Assist in file management, including scanning, plotting, and creating and updating project drawing lists and general drawing management
  • Apply company and industry standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures in preparing design drawings
  • Archive CAD files in accordance with company standards
  • Regularly communicate and coordinate project activities with internal team members
  • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or MicroStation to support drafting deliverables
