Job description

Company Overview:

Strive Pharmacy is a personalized compounding pharmacy built on a simple conviction: medicine should fit the patient, not the other way around. We started Strive because we believed the pharmaceutical industry was overdue for a more human approach—one that prioritizes individualized care, clinical nuance, and genuine partnership with patients and providers.

Compounding gives us the tools to do that. Every formulation we prepare is built to the specific needs of a specific person, and every interaction we have is guided by that same commitment to personalized care.

We're growing, and we're looking for people who share that conviction. If you're ready to be part of a pharmacy that takes the work seriously and the people even more seriously, we'd like to meet you.

Mission:

Strive exists to disrupt an industry long overdue for a more personal approach to care. We put the human element at the center of everything: every formulation, every patient interaction, every provider partnership. We're not just a compounding pharmacy. We're a team on a mission to change what personalized healthcare looks and feels like.

The ideal candidate combines strong regulatory expertise with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Compliance & Review: Design, implement, and continuously improve content compliance policies, SOPs, workflows, SLAs, and controls. Review comparative, superiority, testimonial, endorsement, and structure/function claims for compliance.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Interpret and apply applicable FDA and FTC advertising and promotion guidance, USP <795>/<797>/<800>, HIPAA marketing requirements, and federal and state pharmacy regulations to content and communications for prescription, OTC, and supplement products and services.
  • Risk Management: Provide timely, practical guidance on regulatory and compliance risks. Monitor emerging enforcement trends, digital marketing risks, and regulatory changes that may impact Strive's content.
  • Cross-Functional Compliance Liaison: Attend cross-functional meetings and serve as the designated compliance liaison for assigned department(s), providing guidance, communicating compliance decisions, documenting action items, and coordinating follow-up between stakeholders and the Content Compliance team.
  • Training & Enablement: Develop content playbooks, training materials, language guides, and other resources to help teams create compliant content and understand requirements related to claims, disclosures, fair balance, testimonials, endorsements, and social media.
  • Documentation & Audit Readiness: Maintain an auditable repository of content reviews, approvals, decisions, and supporting rationale. Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and external reviews.
  • Metrics & Process Improvement: Manage review queues and tools, such as Asana, and track KPIs including review volume, cycle time, first-pass approval rate, rework, escalations, and SLA adherence. Develop reporting and recommendations to improve efficiency and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership & Inquiry Response: Partner with Legal, Privacy, Clinical, Marketing, and other stakeholders on content risk, required notices and permissions, patient data use, and public-facing issues. Respond to compliance inquiries with clear guidance, supporting rationale, and recommended actions.
Required Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of USP <795>/<797>/<800>, FDA and FTC advertising and promotion requirements, HIPAA marketing requirements, and federal and state pharmacy regulations.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical, scalable guidance and timely, defensible decisions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, educate non-compliance teams, and influence outcomes without formal authority.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
