As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on specific mental health concerns and relationship dynamics.
• Guide clients in exploring their emotions and personal experiences, promoting self-awareness and understanding.
• Work collaboratively with clients to establish clear therapeutic goals and objectives, acting as an advocate for their mental health journey.
• Assess client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and apply evidence-based strategies to facilitate effective interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

Our clientele primarily consists of stable adults who have been carefully screened for low-acuity mental health concerns. As you engage with these clients, you will provide essential therapeutic support tailored to their unique circumstances, helping them navigate challenges such as relationship conflict, anxiety, and life transitions.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is essential.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) issued by a recognized state board. Please note that a limited or provisional license is not accepted for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate client needs and develop actionable treatment plans based on clinical insights.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a knack for establishing rapport with clients.
• Proficient computer literacy skills, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation.

While we require a minimum of two years of experience in therapeutic settings, candidates with additional background in family therapy, behavioral counseling, and crisis intervention will be highly regarded. Experience working in remote counseling environments is a significant plus, as it showcases your adaptability and proficiency with virtual care methodologies.
