Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clientsโ€™ unique mental health needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches in individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adapting strategies to suit various client needs.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, sharing client progress and necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention and support via telehealth for clients in acute distress or emergency situations, employing de-escalation techniques effectively.
  • Engage in outreach and education initiatives, promoting mental health awareness and resources within the community.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Psychologist, or Master Social Worker with Clinical Specialty (MSW - Clinical).
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients in a remote setting.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to engage with clients from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to keep thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience working as a mental health counselor or therapist, preferably in a community mental health setting.
  • Comfort and familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology, including secure communication methods and electronic health record systems.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, including techniques for managing acute mental health episodes effectively.
