• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans based on the needs of the client, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment options.
• Ensure timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies to maintain quality and accountability.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to enhance the client assessment process and inform treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans and provide ongoing consultation as required.
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
• Serve as a key liaison to community partners, state agencies, and other service systems, enhancing communication and access to resources for clients.
• Foster and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to promote our services and mission effectively throughout the community.
• Engage in community outreach efforts to build relationships with local organizations and identify potential collaborations or funding opportunities.
• Pursue continuous professional development by attending conferences, seminars, and relevant meetings that align with your area of expertise. Represent QualiMed at various industry events to promote our mission and services.
• Embody and advocate for the organization’s mission, values, and principles in every aspect of work, including giving direction to support staff as needed.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at QualiMed, you will work with a diverse client population including individuals experiencing mental health challenges, those in recovery from substance use, and patients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Our holistic approach requires counselors to tailor their therapeutic strategies to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering an environment conducive to healing and recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a behavioral health field is required to ensure a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• A valid LMHC license issued by the state board of Washington is essential for this role.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing detailed reports that satisfy all regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, contributing collaborative insights to enhance client care.
• Effective communication skills that enable the expression of complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills, allowing for independent action when required.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic setting is preferred, as it provides insights into the unique challenges and rewards of working within this environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches that resonate with diverse populations.
• Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies, enhancing your ability to support clients effectively during critical times.
