• Conduct thorough intake assessments to accurately evaluate students' mental health requirements and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based short-term individual counseling sessions to students facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress management.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and wellness workshops that address prevalent topics such as coping strategies, relationship building, and stress reduction.
• Work collaboratively with academic advisors and student organizations to promote a holistic approach to student support, participating in outreach initiatives to raise mental health awareness.
• Engage in crisis intervention where necessary, using adept problem-solving skills to offer immediate support and facilitate emergency responses when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

The primary clientele for this role consists of college students who encounter various challenges during their academic journey. • A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• Exceptional understanding of mental health challenges specific to the collegiate population, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practical scenarios.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and short-term therapeutic models designed to effectively meet the fast-paced demands of a university counseling environment.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience is preferred, especially in a higher education setting.
