Sunshine Sanctuary Mental Health Services, Inc., is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will deliver high-quality mental health services via telehealth, effectively utilizing your clinical skills to assess and treat a diverse range of clients.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will involve:

• Utilizing a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Tracking client progress through data-driven approaches, adjusting treatment plans based on their responses and feedback.
• Providing crisis management for clients facing urgent mental health challenges and employing strong diagnostic skills to assess their needs accurately.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
• Executing routine follow-ups and maintaining thorough documentation while minimizing paperwork to focus on client interactions.

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals dealing with conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and grief. Your ability to connect with clients in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner will be essential in fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages personal growth and healing.

You should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid social work license in accordance with state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW).
• Experience with a variety of psychotherapy modalities and a strong understanding of mental health disorders.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients effectively.
• A clean record, free of medical malpractice claims, validated by a third party.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

We prefer candidates with experience in a fast-paced therapeutic setting and the ability to remain composed amidst interruptions. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and remote communication tools is advantageous, enhancing the delivery of services in a virtual environment.
