Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and customer service skills help you work efficiently with clients and repair shops remotely. These capabilities ensure accurate damage estimates, smooth claim processing, and a positive experience for all parties involved.
A Remote Collision Estimator evaluates vehicle damage and prepares repair estimates using photos, videos, and software without needing to inspect the vehicle in person. They work for insurance companies, auto body shops, or third-party appraisal firms. Their main responsibilities include reviewing claims, assessing repair costs, and ensuring estimates align with industry standards. Strong knowledge of collision repair, estimating software (such as CCC ONE or Mitchell), and insurance procedures is essential.
