What is a remote college student?

A remote college student is someone who pursues their college education primarily through online courses and virtual learning platforms, rather than attending classes in person on campus. These students may be enrolled in fully online degree programs or may take a mix of online and on-campus courses. Remote learning allows for greater flexibility in scheduling and location, making it a popular choice for students who have work, family commitments, or prefer to study from home. However, remote students need to be self-motivated and disciplined to succeed in a less structured environment.
