Process Engineer – Dust Control & Industrial Ventilation Employment Type: Full‑time Exempt Job Location: Remote Our engineering services client supports leading industrial and consumer manufacturing organizations nationwide. They are seeking a Process Engineer with deep expertise in dust collection, industrial ventilation, explosion prevention, and bulk material handling systems . This is a fully remote, U.S.

- based role with approximately 30% travel to manufacturing sites. Role Overview You will lead the engineering design and execution of dust control and ventilation projects across diverse manufacturing environments. This role blends technical leadership, system design, client collaboration, and on-site engineering support.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience with industrial ventilation, dust collection, explosion prevention, and bulk material handling Proven experience delivering engineered packages (P&IDs, scopes, specifications) Strong knowledge of piping, ductwork, equipment specification, and applicable codes Preferred Qualifications Experience with utility systems and pneumatic/mechanical conveying PE license (or ability to obtain) Proficiency in 3D design tools (Revit, Plant 3D, 3D scanning) Industrial HVAC and energy modeling experience Key Responsibilities Lead integrated project execution with cross-functional engineering teams Develop equipment specifications, cost estimates, and engineered work packages Design industrial ventilation and dust control systems, including mass and energy balances Prepare P&IDs, equipment lists, line lists, and points-of-connection documentation Author scopes of work, operational specifications, and installation documents Support construction, commissioning, startup, and on-site surveys Collaborate with clients, vendors, and suppliers Mentor junior engineers and technical staff We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
