Job description

Job Summary:
The Senior Cloud Engineer will engineer and help evolve our Azure-based infrastructure and SaaS platform. This is a hands-on role focused on Cloud Architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes operations, and system reliability, with direct contribution to platform improvements and standardization.
Job Goals:
  • Build and operate reliable Azure infrastructure
  • Design and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.
  • Automate and standardize cloud delivery
  • Improve CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Kubernetes operations for consistency and speed.
  • Increase reliability, visibility, and efficiency
  • Strengthen observability, incident response, and cloud cost optimization.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design and implementation process for Azure Architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure.
  • Providing infrastructure and platform guidance, establishing standards, and technical decision-making.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Deploy and support applications in AKS (multi-environment).
  • Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Monitor systems using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and performance problems.
  • Contribute to observability and reliability improvements.
  • Apply security best practices across infrastructure and deployments.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve deployment workflows and automation.
  • Manage and Optimize Cloud Infrastructure Costs.

Preference will be given to candidates located near Maumee, OH, Dallas, TX, Orlando, FL, or Mesa, AZ
  • 5-8 years in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, and Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Database Technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong Azure experience.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
    • Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
    • Kubernetes
    • Cloud Networking
  • Experience with SRE practices (SLOs, SLIs, reliability, incident response).
  • Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting issues.
  • Familiarity with other Azure services such as Front Door, Application Gateway, VMs, Entra ID, Key Vault
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
