Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, networking, containerization, and DevOps practices. This role involves collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams to define cloud strategies and implement best practices across enterprise environments.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.

  • Develop cloud strategies, reference architectures, and governance standards aligned with business objectives.

  • Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep.

  • Design and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and related orchestration technologies.

  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.

  • Evaluate cloud services and recommend cost-effective, secure, and high-performing solutions.

  • Design cloud networking, including virtual networks, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.

  • Implement cloud security best practices, identity and access management, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using scripting languages.

  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide architectural guidance to project teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, including 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture or cloud engineering roles.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred); experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is also desirable.

  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and cloud-native services.

  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes.

  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent.

  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
