Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

The Senior Marketing Cloud Developer within the MarTech team designs, builds, and optimizes scalable, data-driven marketing solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Account Engagement (Pardot), and Data Cloud with minimal supervision. This role enables AI-driven customer engagement by integrating data sources, orchestrating and implementing personalized cross-channel journeys, and activating customer lifecycle insights. You will partner across marketing, data, and technology teams to deliver measurable business outcomes through platform architecture, automation, and governance.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, Marketing Technology .

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $113,000.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components. Individual offers are based on experience, skills, education, and business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Contact Builder, Advertising Studio, and CloudPages.

  • Build and optimize automations using SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, APIs, and dynamic content frameworks to support scalable campaign execution.

  • Architect and implement multi-channel customer journeys using behavioral, event-based, API-triggered, and transactional patterns.

  • Manage consent, subscription, and customer preference frameworks, including custom landing pages and real-time personalization.

  • Manage deliverability and platform configuration, including sender authentication, IP warming, domain setup, and data governance policies.

  • Configure and enhance Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), including lead scoring, grading, lifecycle stages, Engagement Studio, and automation rules.

  • Develop scalable audience models in Salesforce Data Cloud to support segmentation, personalization, and cross-channel activation.

  • Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce APIs, middleware, SFTP, and ETL workflows.

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions for lifecycle marketing, analytics, and audience activation use cases.

  • Own complex workflows end-to-end: multi-system dependencies, multiple stakeholders, and high-risk customer impacts. Proactively identify constraints and mitigation strategies.

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Marketing Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on, independent Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experience delivering complex implementations.

  • Expertise in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, CloudPages, Contact Builder, and triggered sends.

  • Experience with lead scoring, grading, Engagement Studio, automation rules, and CRM synchronization.

  • Strong understanding and working experience of data modeling, segmentation, and audience activation strategies.

  • Proficient in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, version control, ETL processes, and CRM architecture.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, defines approach, drives execution, and resolves ambiguity with minimal oversight.

  • Highly attention to detail with strong documentation, communication, time-management and problem-solving discipline.
