As an LCSW at Oasis of Serenity Healthcare, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of students to identify mental health challenges and developing individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and their personal goals.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective intervention strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical records that comply with HIPAA regulations, ensuring timely documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including school psychologists and educators, to create a supportive care network that addresses the complexities of student mental health.
• Engaging in regular case reviews and consultations with peers to enhance treatment strategies and outcomes.
• Providing educational workshops and support for students and their families about mental health resources, coping strategies, and available community services.
• Staying informed about the latest research and developments in mental health to continuously improve clinical practices and patient care.

You will primarily work with a diverse population of students from various backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. Your expertise will contribute to addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, bullying, family dynamics, and academic stresses. By providing targeted interventions, you will help students enhance their resilience, develop coping mechanisms, and significantly improve their overall functioning.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services to children and adolescents.
• Strong knowledge and application of solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a capacity to engage effectively with students, families, and professionals.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach, coupled with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Previous experience working in a school setting or with diverse youth populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Training or certification in specialized therapies relevant to child and adolescent mental health.
