The position is fully remote and utilizes telehealth technology, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while still fostering personal connections. Working hours are generally Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis to accommodate client needs.

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to gauge the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standard assessment tools and clinical interview techniques.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that consider their unique challenges and aspirations, using a client-centered approach.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage their symptoms effectively.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies that encourage proactive engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure well-rounded and effective treatment strategies are in place.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in treatment modalities for mood disorders, contributing to clinical discussions and integrating new knowledge into practice.
• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to continuously improve clinical practices and foster professional development.
• Advocate for clients and work to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues, promoting a supportive environment for open dialogues about mental well-being.

Your client focus will primarily be on individuals dealing with a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will work with a diverse population, tailoring your therapeutic approach to accommodate various backgrounds and life experiences. Understanding the unique context of each client’s situation will be critical in fostering an effective therapeutic alliance.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• Two years of post-licensure clinical experience, especially in mood disorder treatment, preferred.
• Expertise in recognized treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong foundation in psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical providers.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and foster trust.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proven success in achieving positive patient outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
• A strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 per year, with additional bonuses and a sign-on bonus for new hires.
