The Field Application Specialist in Flow Cytometry is responsible for assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales as well aspreparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufactured stated specifications. To Implement Flow Cytometry routine for different scientific applications. Lead product demo/training (at conferences, seminars, trade shows, or customer sites) for customer. May assist with optimizing products to meet customer needs and workflow requirements.

This position reports to the Flow Cytometry Applications Manager LATAM and is part of the Sales organization located in Puerto Rico and will be fully remote role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Providing technical and scientific support to customers in Puerto Rico and Caribbean Countries, with a focus on flow cytometry hardware and consumables sales goals. You will support both, the sales team and customers in pre-sales and post-sales activities.

- Delivering high-quality pre-sales support, including instrument and software demonstrations, workflow studies, proactive protocol development, and support at scientific meetings.

- Providing instrument training in customer laboratories, as well as implementing flow cytometry routines ensuring customer satisfaction.

The essential requirements of the job include:

- Must have significant hands-on experience with Flow Cytometry

- A background in Hematology and Clinical Flow Cytometry is highly desirable.

- University degree in biomedicine, biological sciences, pharmacist, biotechnology or a related subject.

- Fluent in Spanish and English, oral and written.

- Must be located in Puerto Rico, preferred in San Juan

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record Physical & Environment Requirements:

- Ability to travel 50-75% of time mostly in Puerto Rico and other countries across Caribbean region

- Should possess a valid driving license.

It will be a plus if you also possess previous experience in working in:

-Knowledge of immunology and experience in academic will be beneficial as well as about extracellular vesicles and/or spectral cytometry

- Practical experience with Flow analysis Software for high dimensional data (like tSNE, CITRUS, FlowSOM, Parade and other) will be beneficial

- Communicating effectively and managing relationships with all stakeholders, including key opinion leaders
