This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience in your work schedule while connecting with students, parents, and school staff through secure telehealth platforms. You will engage with a range of stakeholders, including teachers and administrators, to create actionable plans for students’ emotional and psychological health.

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments tailored to the unique needs of students, utilizing standardized evaluation tools to document mental health, substance abuse, and other pertinent medical concerns.
• Deliver individual and group counseling services to students, families, and school staff. This includes intake sessions, ongoing assessments, and developing targeted treatment plans.
• Perform suicide risk assessments, blending clinical judgment with specific school protocols to escalate care when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and community resources to ensure students receive comprehensive support, including connecting families with external agencies for additional services like medication assistance.
• Engage in crisis intervention, implementing effective strategies to assist students in immediate distress.
• Document all services rendered, adhering to policies on confidentiality, and maintaining accurate progress notes within our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Facilitate and supervise group therapy sessions aimed at improving social skills, emotional regulation, and coping strategies among peers.
• Contribute to the development of internal procedures for quality improvement, particularly related to data collection and analysis of intervention effectiveness, ensuring best practices are adopted.

Your primary clients will be students from diverse backgrounds, ranging from elementary to high school. You will be responsible for understanding their unique challenges, including social, emotional, and behavioral issues exacerbated by external stressors. This role is critical in identifying needs early and providing interventions that foster resilience and success in the educational setting.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Three years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in complex situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms is highly desirable.

• At least two years of experience working within a school setting or with youth populations.
• Proficiency in group facilitation and therapeutic methodologies associated with group dynamics.
• Experience in collaborating with educational staff to develop supportive school environments.
