Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments tailored to the unique needs of students, utilizing standardized evaluation tools to document mental health, substance abuse, and other pertinent medical concerns.
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services to students, families, and school staff. This includes intake sessions, ongoing assessments, and developing targeted treatment plans.
  • Perform suicide risk assessments, blending clinical judgment with specific school protocols to escalate care when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and community resources to ensure students receive comprehensive support, including connecting families with external agencies for additional services like medication assistance.
  • Engage in crisis intervention, implementing effective strategies to assist students in immediate distress.
