This position is designed for remote work, allowing for flexibility in your daily schedule while you engage with patients and collaborate with colleagues. You'll have the comfort of working from a climate-controlled office setting at home, while also having daily interactions through virtual platforms with interdisciplinary team members and healthcare providers. This role will involve movement within your workspace as you manage your responsibilities effectively.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of patients as needed, ensuring that all evaluations align with the standards outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and meet the unique needs of each patient, while also focusing on their desired outcomes and promoting mental health stability.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques during sessions with clients, continuously evaluating patient progress and adapting interventions to optimize results.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and other clinical information in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, leveraging current technology for efficiency.

• Coordinate referrals to other specialists or treatment services as necessary, acting as an essential bridge between patients and their care network, and fostering relationships with external healthcare providers.

• Contribute to the mentorship of students, interns, and volunteers, providing educational support that enhances their learning experiences in a clinical setting.

• Participate in clinical reviews, audits, and collaborative case discussions with supervisors to enhance overall team performance and patient outcomes.

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals and families facing the emotional and psychological challenges associated with cancer diagnoses. You'll work closely with clients who may be experiencing a range of responses from anxiety to depression, necessitating a tailored and empathetic approach to their care.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Experience working specifically with patients affected by serious illnesses, especially in a community health setting.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a history of successful patient outcome improvements.

• Prior experience in a remote work environment and proficiency in using electronic medical records systems.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
