This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging in meaningful therapeutic relationships through video sessions. You will resonate with clients of a low acuity, stable population, providing your expertise without the hassle and distractions found in traditional clinic settings.

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video platforms, ensuring a respectful and supportive environment.
• Utilizing solution-focused treatment modalities to address the client's specific issues, and facilitating therapy that is goal-oriented and results-driven.
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments that align with each client's mental health needs and goals.
• Empowering clients by helping them develop insights into their emotional experiences and relationships.
• Monitoring client progress throughout treatment and adapting strategies to promote ongoing growth and healthier coping mechanisms.

Your work will primarily involve a diverse group of adults dealing with a spectrum of mental health needs. The clients served at Refined Reflections are generally stable and present with low acuity issues, allowing for focused and effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving their overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master's degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and valid state-issued mental health counselor license to practice independently without supervision. Acceptable licenses include:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Psychologist (PsyD)
• No provisional or limited licenses and a clean disciplinary record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a compassionate nature.
• Strong computer literacy and reliable technology for conducting video sessions, including a computer with webcam and audio capabilities and a dependable internet connection.

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, candidates with prior experience in remote counseling, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and expertise in solution-focused therapies will be prioritized. Your ability to quickly build rapport with clients will be essential in helping establish a full clinical caseload shortly after onboarding.

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available for selected candidates.
