Regional Civil Engineer – Stormwater / Infrastructure

Southern California | Remote Flexibility | Confidential Client


We’re working with a growing organization in the stormwater and civil infrastructure space seeking a Regional Civil Engineer to support project development across Southern California.

This role is ideal for an engineer who combines technical knowledge with strong relationship-building skills. You’ll work directly with engineers, agencies, and contractors to influence projects early and help drive specification and adoption of stormwater solutions.


Position Overview

The Regional Civil Engineer will support stormwater and infrastructure projects by working closely with design teams, municipalities, and internal stakeholders. This individual will play a key role in project development, technical support, and driving solutions from early design through construction.


Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships with consulting engineers, municipalities, and contractors across the region

• Support specification and approval of stormwater systems on infrastructure projects

• Review plans and provide technical guidance and value engineering support

• Lead presentations, lunch and learns, and technical discussions with design teams

• Identify upcoming projects and position solutions early in the design phase

• Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations teams to support project execution


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, stormwater, or specification-related roles

• PE license preferred or in progress

• Strong understanding of drainage, site development, or water infrastructure

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Self-driven and comfortable managing a regional territory


Preferred Experience

• Experience working with stormwater systems, drainage design, or water infrastructure products

• Background supporting specification-driven sales or technical consulting

• Familiarity with local agency requirements and permitting processes


Compensation & Benefits
