Job Description:
The Sales Account Manager will oversee customer accounts while supporting day-to-day sales activities, quote entry, order management, and account development. This role combines customer relationship management with administrative responsibilities and requires someone who is comfortable handling a high volume of work with strong attention to detail.
Comprehensive training will be provided, as the aviation industry requires specialized knowledge and product familiarity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned customer accounts and serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries and requests.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and enter a high volume of customer quotes into the company's ERP system.
- Process repair and sales orders while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Research market trends and gather information to support sales efforts and business development.
- Partner with internal departments to coordinate customer needs and resolve issues efficiently.
- Review customer purchasing activity and identify opportunities to increase sales.
- Monitor open orders and provide customers with timely updates on order status.
- Assist with reports, special projects, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience.
- Prior experience in the aviation aftermarket industry is required.
- Strong understanding of aviation components, repair processes, and industry certifications.
- Demonstrated success managing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Experience working with ERP systems; Quantum ERP experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
