This full-time role involves a combination of remote work and outpatient office responsibilities, situated in Moreno Valley, California. Our outpatient office serves as both a supportive environment and a collaborative space for mental health professionals. Our multidisciplinary team, composed of child psychiatrists and therapists, emphasizes a holistic approach to mental health care, ensuring that our young patients receive the most coordinated and effective treatment.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based practices to determine individual needs.
• Develop, execute, and oversee individualized treatment plans tailored to the developmental stages of young patients, incorporating family dynamics into the therapeutic approach.
• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual counseling and therapy for specific disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to equip parents and caregivers with strategies to nurture and support their child's mental health.
• Collaborate effectively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all facets of a patient's well-being.
• Deliver crisis interventions and immediate support during mental health emergencies involving patients, utilizing established protocols.
• Educate patients and families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources that may further aid their journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records, adhering to both legal and ethical standards for documentation.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and contribute to our team's collective knowledge.
• Stay updated on current best practices, research, and advancements in the field of child and adolescent mental health.

The primary focus of this role involves working with children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders such as depression, ADHD, and behavioral disruptions. Your expertise will help facilitate positive outcomes and improve the quality of life for both patients and their families.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.
• Ability to connect with young patients and their families, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications pertinent to mental health care.
• Capacity to function collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering holistic mental health services.

• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly in providing mental health services to children and adolescents.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes to facilitate comprehensive support for young clients.
• Experience with crisis intervention and management, particularly within the context of child and adolescent populations.
