Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive telehealth assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of patients.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and individual patient goals.
• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions utilizing secure video technology, ensuring seamless interaction and communication.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic and coordinated care, sharing insights and progress updates as needed.
• Utilize a secure web-based platform for scheduling, documentation, and patient communication to maintain organized and accurate case management.
• Leverage technology to provide ongoing therapeutic support, including the use of our proprietary chatbot to address clients’ immediate needs.
• Educate patients regarding telehealth policies and ensure compliance with state regulations regarding remote therapy.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes to track patient development and adapt treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with diverse patient demographics experiencing a range of behavioral health issues. This includes individuals diagnosed with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Experience with adolescent clients aged 8 and older is particularly valuable, as this population often requires distinct therapeutic approaches to address their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license to practice in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably involving diverse treatment methodologies.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and state telehealth regulations.
• Proficient in using technology to enhance clinical practice, including scheduling, electronic health records, and virtual communication tools.
• Capability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships in a virtual context.
• Demonstrated clinical acumen in evaluating patients' needs and determining appropriate levels of care.
• Access to essential technology, including a reliable internet connection, laptop, and smartphone.
• A secure and private workspace for conducting telehealth sessions remotely.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based practices.
• Background in working with adolescents and an understanding of developmental psychology.
• Previous experience in a remote clinical role is a plus but not a requirement.
