This is a fully remote position that allows you to create your own schedule while working over 30 hours a week. You will utilize an easy-to-use counseling platform to connect with clients, ensuring seamless communication and interaction.

• Provide ethical and compassionate mental health counseling through secure video chat sessions, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for clients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish client needs and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Empower clients by teaching coping strategies, problem-solving techniques, and effective communication skills tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up assessments, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals within our organization to promote well-rounded care and support for clients.

Your primary focus will be on supporting low-acuity adult clients who are often at a transitional point in their lives and require guidance in managing their mental health. This role is pivotal in helping clients navigate challenges related to stress, anxiety, depression, and general life adjustments, thus enhancing their quality of life and overall well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Current, independent licensure in your state as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD, with no ongoing disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding when working with diverse populations.
• Proficient computer literacy with experience in telehealth systems; a stable Wi-Fi connection is required to support remote counseling.

While not essential, previous experience providing telehealth services or working in community mental health settings will be beneficial in this role. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, as well as experience in crisis intervention, will enhance your effectiveness in serving our client population.
