Chat and Change Mental Health is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Syracuse, New York. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while facilitating therapy from the comfort of your home. Although the work setting is virtual, the LCSW will focus on interacting with students, parents, and educators, forming crucial partnerships to support the mental health challenges prevalent in school-aged children. This role involves regular use of telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHRs) to engage with clients and document care efficiently.

• Provide individualized psychotherapy sessions via telehealth for students dealing with mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
• Conduct detailed assessments to gauge students' emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, creating a foundation for effective treatment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices to meet each student's unique needs.
• Engage with parents and guardians, providing support, education, and resources to enhance the mental health of students at home and in the school environment.
• Collaborate with educators and school administrators to design and support mental health initiatives within the school community.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on real-time feedback and observed outcomes.
• Adhere to high ethical and professional standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and obtaining informed consent during therapy sessions.

The primary focus of this role will be to serve diverse school-aged individuals, ranging from early childhood through high school. The LCSW will cater to students presenting various mental health challenges, ensuring that interventions are culturally sensitive and aligned with best practices in child development.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least 2 years of direct experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services in a clinical or educational context.
• Strong clinical skills, with expertise in conducting thorough psychological assessments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective relationships with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms is strongly preferred.

• Experience working in school settings, particularly in developing mental health programs tailored for adolescents.
• Knowledge of behavioral interventions and their implementation in educational environments.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
