Type: Part-time (15–25 hrs/week)

About FORONE
FORONE is a cross-border marketing and growth consultancy helping global companies enter and scale in the U.S. market. We specialize in go-to-market strategy, narrative building, and integrated campaigns across emerging industries including robotics, AI, and consumer tech.
Our clients range from early-stage startups to high-growth companies navigating U.S. expansion—from stealth-mode launches to major milestones such as CES.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Part-Time PR Specialist / Consultant to lead media strategy and execution across both B2B tech and consumer-facing brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to translate complex products into compelling narratives, build strong relationships with media, and drive earned coverage that supports go-to-market goals.
You will work closely with our internal strategy team and founders to shape positioning, pitch stories, and secure high-impact media placements.

Key Responsibilities:
Media Strategy & Narrative Development
  • Develop PR strategies aligned with product stage (MVP to launch to scale, growth)
  • Craft compelling narratives for emerging tech (AI, robotics, SaaS) and consumer-facing products
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, media-friendly story angles
Media Relations & Outreach
  • Build and manage relationships with tech, business, and consumer/lifestyle media
  • Pitch and secure coverage across top-tier and niche publications
  • Coordinate interviews, embargoes, and media briefings
Campaign Execution
  • Lead PR efforts for product launches, fundraising announcements, and major events (e.g., CES)
  • Develop press materials including press releases, media kits, and talking points
  • Manage outreach pipeline and follow-ups
Media Intelligence & Reporting
  • Identify relevant journalists, editors, and creators
  • Monitor trends across tech and consumer media landscapes
  • Track performance metrics such as coverage quality and message pull-through
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with strategy, content, and GTM teams
  • Support narrative testing and positioning refinement
  • Align PR efforts with broader marketing and growth objectives
Qualifications:

Required
  • 5+ years of PR experience in tech and/or consumer media
  • Strong relationships with U.S.-based journalists and media outlets
  • Proven track record of securing meaningful media coverage
  • Experience working with startups or high-growth companies
  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills
Preferred
  • Experience supporting U.S. market entry for global companies
  • Familiarity with founder-led storytelling
  • Experience with B2B, robotics, or consumer tech narratives
  • Exposure to venture ecosystem and fundraising announcements
  • Experience with major industry events such as CES, SXSW, or TechCrunch Disrupt

What It’s Like Working with FORONE
  • We move fast and operate like a startup—things are often in motion, not fully defined
  • We value people who take ownership and drive things forward without waiting for instructions
  • We think strategically, but care deeply about execution and getting things done
  • We work closely as a team and with our clients—clear communication and collaboration matter
Compensation
  • Hourly: $75 – $100 per hour
  • Flexible based on experience, media relationships, and scope of work
  • Estimated commitment: 15–25 hours per week
We are open to structuring this as a monthly retainer depending on engagement scope.

How to Apply
In addition to your resume, please include:
  • Your LinkedIn profile
