ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR — JOB DESCRIPTION Remote | Preferred Timezone: PST or MDT

Position Overview: Responsible for instructing students across all applicable programs in accordance with Charter College policies, procedures, and requirements. Reports directly to the Program Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruction & Curriculum:
  • Prepare and deliver all lecture, laboratory, and clinical instruction per the required curriculum.
  • Follow current course outlines, objectives, and evaluation methods, or develop them as directed by the Program Manager.
  • Maintain a daily lesson plan.
Student Support & Retention:
  • Actively participate in student retention efforts.
  • Remind students of missed assignments and encourage participation.
  • Identify and assist "at-risk" students, referring them for appropriate support.
  • Provide educational assistance during scheduled office hours or by appointment.
  • Advise students on school policies and satisfactory academic performance.
Administrative:
  • Monitor and document student attendance and retention as required.
  • Grade assignments and return feedback in a timely manner.
  • Process end-of-course grades per policy.
  • Communicate with the Program Manager and Student Academic Advisors on all student-related matters.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and serve on assigned committees.
  • Submit supply and equipment needs in writing to the Lead Instructor or Program Manager.
  • Monitor equipment and supply inventory in secured facilities.
Professional Development:
  • Maintain professional expertise through seminars, current literature, and online courses to meet accreditation standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.

Job Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree (Required).
  • Qualification dependent on program and class level.
  • All questions regarding qualifications should be referred to the Table of Faculty Qualifications for Teaching.
Experience:
  • Clinical Diagnostic Radiography: 2 years (Required).
  • CT experience (Required).
License/Certification:
  • ARRT(R) or Limited License equivalent (Required).
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (Required).

Compensation:
  • Hourly Non-Exempt — Part Time.
  • Wage Range: $35.00/hr — $45.32/hr.
  • Compensation dependent on experience, knowledge, and education level.
