Position Overview

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Zallence Mental and Wellness Center, you will play a crucial role in supporting adults facing various mental health challenges. Your primary objective will be to provide individualized and compassionate mental health counseling through a fully remote platform. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing effective treatment plans that empower clients to improve their mental wellness.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions through video chat, ensuring a supportive environment for clients.
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each client’s unique circumstances, developing personalized treatment plans that effectively address their mental health needs.
• Facilitate client skill development by teaching coping strategies, problem-solving techniques, and effective communication skills to promote self-sufficiency and resilience.
• Regularly review progress with clients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions while ensuring compliance with patient confidentiality and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on stabilizing and low-acuity adult clients who are seeking to enhance their mental wellbeing. You will address a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship issues. By focusing on a strengths-based approach, you will help clients navigate their challenges while empowering them on their journey to improved mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Possession of a valid and current state license in one of the following: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Must have independent licensure without supervision, along with a clean disciplinary record with no past actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in using technology to facilitate remote sessions are essential for seamless communication with clients.
• Reliable access to a stable Wi-Fi connection to ensure uninterrupted sessions with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a remote counseling setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy techniques and mental health practices is a plus.
• Experience working with diverse populations and varied presenting issues will enhance your effectiveness in the role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with hours worked and experience.
