Their main responsibilities include capturing high-quality images to assist cardiologists in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. They collaborate with healthcare teams, ensure patient safety, and may provide technical support or guidance virtually. This role requires advanced knowledge of radiographic technology and cardiac procedures, as well as the ability to work efficiently with remote communication tools.

What does a remote cath lab radiographer do in a cath lab?

A remote cath lab radiographer operates imaging equipment to assist in cardiovascular procedures, capturing high-quality X-ray images to guide interventions such as angiograms and stent placements. They work closely with medical teams, often using advanced imaging tools and maintaining patient safety protocols in a clinical environment.
